Ideas Conference

Since 2004, Spence & Sanders has been the editorial brains behind a special Boston Globe section on the IDEAS conference, a one-day event at the Federal Reserve in Boston that brings together 16 of the region’s top thinkers. Open to the public, the conference asks these leading writers, artists, scientists, and intellectuals to speak about the work that engages them. The goal is to highlight the intellectual capital that makes Boston such an influential city.

As editorial director for the IDEAS project, Spence & Sanders oversees a team of writers, editors, and photographers to prepare the conference program and summarize each of the presentations. We supervise on-site coverage of the event and shepherd all content through design and production.
